Made it to Gooch  Mountain Shelter and met up with eight other hikers:) I'm feeling somewhat relieved;

he'll be safer with a group. Weather was great. So far, things going as planned. Rain in the forecast for tomorrow. North Carolina to Washington, DC expecting snow. Hope this will not be an issue for Paul when he reaches NC.
